Fiona Ewing, Tasmanian DirectorFiona Ewing  Director Tasmania: Fiona received a Bachelor of Science degree in marine science at the University of NSW in 1987 and moved to Tasmania shortly thereafter to undertake post graduate studies in fisheries at the Australian Maritime College. Fiona has spent much of her working life at sea as an observer, initially working for AFMA on foreign fishing vessels and later as a scientific observer on domestic commercial fishing vessels. Her fishery experience encompasses deep sea trawling, rock lobster fishing, drop and long lining, purse seining and crab fishing. Fiona has also had a short stint working with as a Fishcare Volunteer Coordinator. Currently she is working as a SeaNet environmental fisheries extension Officer with OceanWatch Australia.
